Do you know a middle schooler making a difference in your community?
The Youth Power and Hope Awards program celebrates young changemakers who are making a positive impact in their communities. Open to Indiana students in fifth through eighth grades, the program honors those who demonstrate leadership through volunteerism and community service. Whether assisting with local organizations, supporting causes through 4-H, or dedicating time to church or school projects, these students are creating brighter futures for their communities.
Up to five winners will each receive $500, be honored at the Indiana Electric Cooperatives’ Annual Meeting in December, and be featured in an upcoming issue of Indiana Connection. The applicant’s parent(s)/guardian(s) must be a member of Harrison REMC.
