Electric Outdoor Equipment Rebate Program

Did you know that electric outdoor equipment has seen big improvements in recent years? How about a push mower that can tackle 3,000 square feet in a single charge? That exists!

What tools are better for the environment, requires no fuel or additives and very little maintenance? You guessed it, electric outdoor tools. Electric outdoor tools have been proven to reduce carbon footprint and keep the air we breathe free from emissions.
Electric outdoor equipment also has fewer moving parts than gas-powered equipment which helps it weigh less with less maintenance. With the advances in lithium-ion battery technology, electric outdoor equipment can run longer and stronger than years before.
Harrison REMC is offering its residential member-consumers the opportunity to apply for an electric outdoor equipment incentive.

Products include (electric) : trimmers, leaf blowers, chain saws, snow blowers, rototillers, pressure washers, push mowers with a minimum of 36 volts, and riding electric-powered mowers. The brand and where you choose to purchase the equipment is up to you.

• 50% off UP TO $150 on eligible riding equipment

  • Must be a current Harrison REMC residential member-consumer.
  • The applicant’s primary address is identified on the application.
  • Rebates apply to electric outdoor equipment consisting of: leaf blowers, trimmers, chain saws, snow blowers, rototillers, pressure washers, push mowers with a minimum of 36 volts, and riding electric-powered mowers. (corded or battery equipment is eligible).
  • Equipment must be purchased new; reconditioned or refurbished equipment is not eligible.
  • Rebate for qualifying equipment is 50% of the purchase price up to $50 or if an electric riding lawnmower up to $150.
  • Limit (2) rebates per member account per year.
  • Customer must complete and submit application to Harrison REMC.
  • Proof of purchase required (receipt or paid invoice).
  • Completed rebate application and documentation must be received within 90 days of purchase date.
  • Equipment must be purchased within same program year.
  • Equipment must have a minimum one-year warranty.
  • Lawnmowers must have a minimum of 36 volts.
  • Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis while funds are available.
  • Rebates may take up to 6 weeks from receipt of the application by Harrison REMC to process.
  • Approved rebates will be returned to the member in the form of a bill credit.
