TIME OF USE FARM AND HOME SCHEDULE

RATE SCHEDULE TOU-1, TOU-2

AVAILABILITY:

This rate is closed to new customers, but is otherwise available to existing time of use customers in all territory served by the Corporation as an optional rate for Farm and Home use, subject to the Corporation's Service Rules and Regulations. Existing customers, or customer requesting service at locations with existing load management time of use equipment installed, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

TYPE OF SERVICE:

Single phase, 60 hertz, at the following standard voltages: 120/240, or other voltage as might be mutually agreeable.

MONTHLY RATE:

FACILITIES CHARGE: $20.00 PER MONTH

ON PEAK ENERGY CHARGES:

FIRST 750 kWh USED ON PEAK $0.10760 PER kWh
NEXT 750 kWh USED ON PEAK $0.007623 PER kWh
OVER 1500 kWh USED ON PEAK $0.06286 PER kWh

OFF PEAK ENERGY CHARGES:

ALL kWh USED OFF PEAK $0.04681 PER kWh

The off-peak energy charge applies to all kWh usage, between the hours listed below:

April         8:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.    EST

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

A twelve (12) consecutive-month waiting period will be required for any previous Schedule "TOU" consumer requesting to be re-instated on Schedule "TOU".

APPLICABILITY:

Applicable for Farm and Home use incidental thereto supplied through a single delivery point for the total Residential Usage with installed transformer capacity of 50 kVA or less. Customers with annual kWh requirements of no less than 12,000 kWh, and who installs two (2) KW or more of Electric Thermal Storage (ETS) or cold storage units will be eligible for this optional rate. The capacity of individual motors served under this Schedule shall not exceed ten (10) horsepower without consent from the Corporation. Any facility whose operation adversely affects the quality of service to other REMC customers or the operation of REMC equipment will be disconnected if the problem cannot be resolved.

MINIMUM BILLING CHARGE:

The minimum billing charge under the above rates shall be $20.00 where 25 kVA or less transformer capacity is required. For consumer customers requiring in excess of 25 kVA transformer capacity, the above minimum charge will be increased $1.20 for each additional kVA or fraction thereof supplied by the Corporation.

RATE ADJUSTMENT:

The above rate is subject to a Purchased Power Cost Adjustment Tracking Factor as defined in Appendix A.

FUEL COST ADJUSTMENT CLAUSE:

The above rate is subject to a fuel adjustment clause as defined in Appendix A

CONDITION OF SERVICE:

All wiring, poles, lines, and other electrical equipment beyond the weatherhead for overhead service, or beyond the metering point for underground service, shall be considered the distribution system of the customer. The customer's distribution system shall include the meter base and shall be owned, installed and maintained by the customer and shall meet the specifications of the National Electrical Code and the Corporation's Service Rules and Regulations. The meter will be owned and installed by the Corporation.

MISCELLANEOUS NONRECURRING CHARGES:

Customers served under this rate schedule shall be subject to the miscellaneous nonrecurring charges stated in Appendix B, and may be charged as applicable and in accordance with the current Rules and Regulations as adopted by the Utility Regulatory Commission of Indiana.

INTERPRETATION OR APPLICATION OF SCHEDULE:

The interpretation of, or the application by the Corporation or by any customer of rates, rules and regulations included in this tariff, shall be subject to review by the Utility Regulatory Commission of the State of Indiana or other government body having jurisdiction.
