Annual Meeting April 6, 2010

As a member of Harrison REMC, you are invited to attend the Annual Meeting and vote for representatives from the REMC service territory to serve on the REMC board of directors.

During the Annual Meeting, members are also given the opportunity to review the previous year’s annual report, which details the fiscal health of your REMC.

The 72nd Harrison REMC Annual Meeting was held at Corydon Central High School on April 6. During the registration, members were able to visit our customer question and energy efficiency booths. Entertainment was provided by the Vittle Pickers. Children ages three through 10 were entertainded the by the Tumblebus. Harrison County Hospital provided mini health screenings. Members also enjoyed popcorn and soft drinks served by Boy Scouts Troop 4525 (Lanesville) and 4071 (New Salisbury).

Father Mike Hildebrand of St. Marys Church in Lanesville gave the invocation followed by the National Anthem sang by Alex Dean, Breanna Armstrong and Hope Jin, all students at Corydon Central High School.

The business portion of the meeting included David Lett's CEO report. The following board elections occurred. Pat Book, Brian Koetter and James D. Smith were re-elected to serve districts two, three and six respectively.

Every membership received a $10 bill credit, 4 CFL's and an environmentally friendly bag.
